The smash-hit short-form theatre festival returns for the third year as part of HERE's Autumn Artist Lodge! Curated by Dominic D'Andrea, the two-program event will present over 80 plays all under sixty-seconds by some of the most exciting emerging and established writers in the American Theatre.

The 13th annual Philadelphia Live Arts Festival and Philly Fringe, which opened September 4 and runs through September 19, 2009, will begin the Festival's second week of performances with the opening of four U.S. Premieres in both theater and dance.

As part of a two-part strategy to address individual artist compensation, PushPush will create a small artistic ensemble for collaboration, creation, and international touring for 2010. Beyond career development, the immediate priority for the project is financial support for up to six individual artists.

Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company will present the world premiere of ECLIPSED by Danai Gurira (Co-creator of In the Continuum) August 31 - September 27. Opening night is set for September 6. The production is directed by Liesl Tommy (The Good Negro, Public Theatre) and featuries Company Members Jessica Frances Dukes and Dawn Ursula.
