Fluid Motion Theater & Film presents the world premiere of PIOUS POETIC PIE, a new spoken word play adapted from Euripides' Medea by Latina slam poet Yubelky Rodriguez. Directed by Denyse Owens, previews begin May 21 at the Hudson Guild Theater. Opening night is set for Saturday, May 23.

Second Stage Theatre has announced initial casting for its 'New Works Festival' on Friday, June 13

Anthony Rapp (Rent) and Robert Cuccioli (Jekyll & Hyde) headed the cast of a one-night-only performance of The King Stag, written and directed by Jeremy Dobrish (adapted from the original Carlo Gozzi play) on Monday, March 24 with a 6PM reception and 7:30PM performance at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street) to benefit Resonance Ensemble's 2008 season.

Second Generation, the nation's preeminent Asian American theater company devoted to developing the next generation of APA theater artists, presents the world premiere of TBA by Carla Ching, directed by Denyse Owens.
