Clarinetist Alexander Fiterstein will perform chamber works by Beethoven, Brahms, Lutoslawski, Milhaud, and Ofer Ben-Amots with cellist Nicholas Canellakis and pianist Steven Beck as part of the Masterworks Series at Bargemusic today, June 30, 2013 at 2:00 pm. This is the first time the trio has performed together since their eight-city tour of the Midwest in March.

Clarinetist Alexander Fiterstein is a featured soloist on the new album “Sean Hickey: Concertos,” scheduled for release on the Delos Music label on May 28, 2013. The album includes two concertos by American composer Mr. Hickey: Concerto for Cello and Orchestra, which was commissioned by cellist Dmitry Kouzov and composed in 2008, andConcerto for Clarinet and Orchestra composed in 2006. Both pieces were recorded in St. Petersburg, Russia with conductor Vladimir Lande and the St. Petersburg State Symphony and the St. Petersburg State Academic Symphony Orchestra. This is the first all-orchestral recording of the works of Mr. Hickey.

Red Touch Media hosted the exclusive jOBS film premiere after party on closing night of the Sundance Film Festival 2013 in Park City, UT on January 25. Cast members Ashton Kutcher, Josh Gad, Ahna O'Reilly and director Joshua Michael Stern all attended the event, which was held at pop-up club Nur Khan Presents for NK. DJ Cash spun and guests enjoyed specialty cocktails and photography by Norman Seeff, who shot the iconic 1984 image of Steve Jobs sitting on the floor with a Mac in his lap.
