Guy Pearce is in talks to replace Michael Sheen in Bloodshot, according to Variety. The film is a Sony and Cross Creek Pictures co-production based on the Valiant comic and starring Vin Diesel.

Millions of Poldark fans were left heartbroken on Sunday evening when Heida Reed's character Elizabeth Warleggan met her untimely and tragic end in the season finale. After four series as a lead in the much-loved BBC drama, Heida Reed bowed out in a dramatic episode which saw her character Elizabeth die from a concoction taken to induce early labour. As the nation tuned in for the season four finale this week, the emotional scenes saw Poldark fans take to social media in their droves to express their dismay at the shock departure of this popular character.

In 2019, Amazon Prime is unveiling its next big title, Good Omens, based on the novel by Neil Gaiman (American Gods, Coraline) and the late Sir Terry Pratchett (Discworld). Gaiman is the series show runner and it's directed by Douglas Mackinnon (Doctor Who). The series is slotted to run for six episodes and is being produced by the BBC, to air on its channel after it debuts on Prime. This past weekend for San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), Amazon Prime released a short featurette with a first look at the series. Check it out!

It was announced today that Tony Award-winning director Michael Grandage will helm a film adaptation of book Jack and Lem: The Untold Story of an Extraordinary Friendship by David Pitts, the film will explore the incredible thirty-year friendship between John F. Kennedy and Kirk Lemoyne Billings (aka 'Lem'). Screenwriter David Scearce (A Single Man) will adapt the book for the screen.

The animated adult series ANIMALS. returns for its ten-episode third season FRIDAY, AUG. 3 (11:30 p.m.-midnight ET/PT), exclusively on HBO. From Duplass Brothers Productions, the show was created by Phil Matarese & Mike Luciano.

Dawn King's Foxfinder will have its West End premiere at the Ambassadors Theatre from 6 September 2018 for a strictly limited season until 5 January 2019. We've lost many a theatre artist this past year, from actress Barbara Cook to playwright Sam Shepard. The Society of London Theatre, with the help of Chita Rivera, Andy Karl, and Adam Bernard, paid tribute to those who've made contributions to the world of theatre in their 'In Memoriam' segment at Sunday's Olivier Awards broadcast. 

Ovation, America's only arts network, continues to explore the world of culinary arts with three exciting titles set to air later this year. The network has licensed the first season of Jamie's American Road Trip (6 x 60') and three seasons of Jamie & Jimmy's Food Fight Club (16 x 60') from FremantleMedia International. The deal also includes the documentary Alinea in Residence Madrid (1 x 60'). All three titles will air on the linear network as well as on JOURNY, Ovation's AVOD travel channel.
