Thirteen gifted students from drama schools across the UK have been awarded with £55,500 worth of bursaries by the Society of London Theatre (SOLT) in order to help them complete their training. Previous bursary winners include Patterson Joseph, Daniel Rigby, Vinette Robinson, Bryony Hannah and Michael Sheen.

Dame Helen Mirren is currently considering a role as Queen Elizabeth II in THE AUDIENCE, a play about the Queen's reign so far by Peter Morgan (The Queen, Frost/Nixon) in the West End this fall and on Broadway in spring 2013, according to the New York Post. Stephen Daldry (Billy Elliot) has been tipped to direct the play, which will humanise the Queen by mixing stories of her private and public lives.

RAY DONOVAN, a one-hour drama starring Emmy(R) and Golden Globe(R) Award nominee Liev Schreiber, and MASTERS OF SEX, a one-hour drama starring Emmy and BAFTA Award nominee Michael Sheen and acclaimed actress Lizzy Caplan, have both received 12 episode orders and will both film in Los Angeles for air in 2013.

It's March Madness as ABC Family airs the network television premiere of Disney's ALIC IN WONDERLAND, starring Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter on Saturday, March 3rd at 8:30pm ET/PT and Sunday, March 4th at 7:30pm ET/PT.

Bridges will play University Chancellor Barton Scully, William Masters' boss, while Martindale will guest star as Miss Horchow, Masters' very by the book secretary. Directed by Academy Award nominee John Madden ('Shakespeare in Love'), the pilot will begin production in New York next week. Acclaimed actors Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan were recently cast as the leads - 1960's human sexuality pioneers William Masters and Virginia Johnson. Actress Caitlin Fitzgerald ("It's Complicated," "Gossip Girl") has also been cast as William Masters' wife Libby.

After announcing this morning that he will return to the Royal Shakespeare Company this summer, Patrick Stewart has also announced that he will be returning to the Young Vic next year. He will appear as William Shakespeare in Edward Bond's 1973 play Bingo, a play he first appeared in back in April 2010 at Chichester Festival's Minerva theatre.
