David Mirvish was saddened to learn about the death of theatre giant Sir Peter Hall, who died in London at the age of 86 on September 11, 2017. In honour of his life, the lights of the Royal Alexandra Theatre will be dimmed at 8 PM tonight, September 19.
Henry Christensen III Retires as Chairman of TFANA's Board

Theatre for a New Audience has announced the retirement of Henry Christensen III as Chairman of the Theatre's Board, a position he has held since 2012, due to health reasons. Theodore C. Rogers and Robert Buckholz will succeed Mr. Christensen as TFANA's Chairman and Vice Chairman, respectively. Mr. Christensen will continue as a member of the Board of Directors.

It is sensitively directed (by artistic director Jim Strait), and performed superbly by a first-rate cast. COCK is a drama that is likely to interest both the LGBT community (Desert Rose's core constituency) and straight theatergoers. Its theme about identity is universal.I consider it a must-see.
