The critically acclaimed Australian production of MAMMA MIA! THE MUSICAL dances into Melbourne's Princess Theatre from July 10th.

Universal Theatrical Group, Working Title Films, Greene Light Stage, Michael Coppel Entertainment and Louise Withers Presents are delighted to announce that Billy Elliot the Musical will return to Australia in 2019 for its 10th Anniversary Tour. The hugely successful West End musical premiered in Australia in 2007 as the first international production outside of the UK, prior to its Broadway premiere. With the first Australian tour concluding in Melbourne in 2009, this new 10th Anniversary tour kicks off in 2019, ten years after the curtain came down in Australia.

Currently wowing audiences in Brisbane at QPAC's Lyric Theatre, this Australian tour of MAMMA MIA! played a sold-out season at the Canberra Theatre Centre and from Sydney the tour will continue onto Crown Theatre Perth from May 15th 2018, Melbourne's Princess Theatre from July 10th 2018 and the Festival Theatre at Adelaide Festival Centre from October 9th 2018.

Official opening is tonight 28 December 2017 with the feel good musical sure to have people dancing in the aisles of Queensland Performing Arts Centre's (QPAC's) Lyric Theatre right to the season close on 4 February 2018.

Here we go again! It was announced today that the global phenomenon, MAMMA MIA!, will tour Australia in 2017 - 2018 commencing its national tour in Canberra in November 2017 before moving on to five other capital cities. The announcement was made by the Hon. Andrew Barr, ACT Chief Minister.
