Bristol Old Vic and Royal & Derngate, Northampton have announced the full cast for The Caretaker which will begin rehearsals today.

Following sell-out success in Adelaide in 2015 and 2016 the burlesque extravaganza, Cabaret de Paris is returning to Her Majesty's Theatre for two performances only on 23 September at 2.00pm and 7.30pm.

Tom O'Horgan's controversial 1971 Broadway musical INNER CITY will be presented in concert on August 17th at Feinstein's/54 Below, with shows at 7:00pm and 9:30pm.

Simon Godwin's (Associate Director, London's National Theatre) acclaimed staging of Measure for Measure, William Shakespeare's dark comedy about justice, faith, power, sex and family, will close as scheduled next week, on July 16. Just 15 New York performances remain of the production.

Theatre for a New Audience (TFANA; Jeffrey Horowitz, Founding Artistic Director) is pleased to announce casting for British director Simon Godwin's new staging of Measure for Measure, William Shakespeare's dark comedy about justice, faith, power, sex, and family. Print Room at the Coronet has today announced its Autumn/Winter season, featuring: the London transfer from Theatre Royal Bath, of ground-breaking US playwright Alice Childress's courageous Trouble in Mind; Coronet International Festival, celebrating the work of artists from across the world; and Winter's Tales, a series of Christmas readings by friends and famous faces for children and their families. The season concludes with the return of multi-award-winning US playwright Will Eno, whose The Open House, directed by former RSC Artistic Director Michael Boyd, is being presented in a second collaboration with Theatre Royal Bath.

Theatre for a New Audience (TFANA) has announced that it has successfully completed its capital campaign to stabilize the institution's finances and open a permanent home, surpassing the campaign's $69.1 million goal.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW will be hosting a Reunion Concert of the 1971 Broadway musical, INNER CITY. The original Broadway production, directed by Tom O'Horgan, featured music by Helen Miller and lyrics by Eve Merriam.  The show was based on Merriam's book "The Inner City Mother Goose," a collection of updated nursery rhymes reflecting life of the disenfranchised inhabitants of America's urban inner cities circa 1970. The production ran at Broadway's Barrymore Theater from December 1971 to March 1972. Featured cast member, Linda Hopkins, was awarded a 1972 Tony Award for her performance.

59E59 Theaters will present ROTTERDAM, written by Jon Brittain and directed by Donnacadh O'Briain. Produced by Hartshorn - Hook Foundation Ltd, ROTTERDAM begins performances on Wednesday, May 17 for a limited engagement through Saturday, June 10. Press Opening is Wednesday, May 24 at 7:30 PM.

Richard Twyman today announces his inaugural season as Artistic Director of English Touring Theatre which includes a series of first-time collaborations with theatres, theatre companies and artists. 

It's not just the title that's daunting in Tony Kushner's exhaustive three-and-a-half-hour epic, which tackles everything from socialist history, belief systems and family dysfunction to maternity strap-ons and meta jokes about cell phones at the theatre. It's such a barrage of polyphonic arguments and relentlessly destructive behaviour that one begins to develop a sneaking sympathy with the patriarch's desire for 'self-delivery' AKA suicide. But, under Michael Boyd's sure hand, a strong cast delivers the meat of this hefty piece - for those who can stick with it.

Casting was announced today for the HighTide production of Al Smith's debut play Harrogate. Nigel Lindsay joins Sarah Ridgeway, who starred in the original production at HighTide Festival 2015, for the London premiere at the Royal Court Theatre from 20 - 29 October and UK Tour. Richard Twyman, the newly appointed Artistic Director of English Touring Theatre, returns to direct Harrogate, which had an acclaimed sell-out run at the influential annual HighTide Festival in Aldeburgh, Suffolk.
