New York City music lovers will get to experience a wonderful array of French produced music this summer when the festival FRANCEROCKS SUMMERFEST returns. The month-longmusic festival—the largest of its kind in the US—will showcase the expansive wealth of multifarious French talent as well as international artists who found in France their inspirational home. Lineup includes over 25 soaring artists spanning genres from indie pop, rock, eclectic world and electronic that spawn an excitingmelting pot of sounds. Free and ticketed shows at over 25 venues range from Central Park Summerstage and Lincoln Center to Brooklyn's Northside Festival and Brooklyn Steel as well as intimate performance spaces throughout New York City. The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts announces three more critically-acclaimed acts to its 2018 Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts (PIFA). They are Toshi Reagon -- a talented singer, composer, and producer with roots in folk, blues and rock; Nobuntu - an all-female a capella group from Zimbabwe; and Inventive Mothers: A Tribute to Frank Zappa performed by Studio Dan from Austria. Each will enhance the stellar lineup of artists already planned for PIFA 2018. The 11-day festival is packed with more than 50 performances ranging from music and dance to 360-degree immersive spectacle experiences, and will attract regional visitors to Philadelphia from Thursday, May 31 through Sunday, June 10.

The performance also features singers Sarah Elizabeth Charles, Emily Eagen, and Emeline Michel.

Exploring storytelling and creativity in sound, On Air Fest will be held on March 1st through 4th. The podcast and audio festival brings together the creative vanguard thinkers, creators, performers, and storytellers for four days of deep-dive engagements including explorations of process, new works, and exhibitions. All programming will take place at Wythe Hotel (80 Wythe Ave at N. 11th Street), the Brooklyn-based boutique hotel known for its commitment to culture, food, and community.
