A slew of legendary stage and screen perfomers have contributed their insights, memories and recollections to a new book about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy titled SEVEN SECONDS by Holly Millea. Meryl Streep, Liza Minnelli, Lorna Luft, Tom Stoppard, Nora Ephron, Lauren Bacall and many more participate in the collective memory book, released on the fiftieth anniversary of the political icon's date of death.

Laurence Fox, Jack Huston, ChristIan McKay, Miranda Raison, Imogen Stubbs and MyAnna Buring will star in Strangers on a Train by Craig Warner, which will be presented at the Gielgud Theatre in London's West End by Barbara Broccoli, Colleen Camp, Michael G Wilson, Lucky VIII/Lou Spisto, Frederick Zollo and Michael Rose Limited for Strangers (UK) Limited. The production, directed by Robert Allan Ackerman, will preview from today, 2 November. This gripping thriller is based on Patricia Highsmith's acclaimed novel, which was the inspiration for Alfred Hitchcock's legendary movie.

Theatre Communications Group (TCG) has announced a new edition of the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning August: Osage County by Tracy Letts. This edition coincides with the December 25 release of a major motion picture adaptation from The Weinstein Company starring Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Chris Cooper, Dermot Mulroney, Sam Shepard, Juliette Lewis and Ewan McGregor.

The Educational Theatre Association (EdTA) will present Making Magic, Defying Gravity, an evening of music, performance, and 'behind the curtain' conversation, on Monday, November 11 at Parkway Central High School at 7:00 p.m. The evening includes live performances from Broadway's and St. Louis's top student talent, but also provides understanding and perspective on theatre education and careers in the business.
