Two-time Tony Award-winning Goodspeed Musicals will bring the delightful new musical comedy Radio Girl to the stage this summer at The Norma Terris Theatre, its home for developing new works in Chester, Conn. Based on the beloved story of Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm, this wholesome tale will charm audiences of all ages July 29 through August 22.

Goodspeed Musicals, the only two time Tony Award-winning theatre in the country, announced today that Annie Get Your Gun will continue to play to enthusiastic audiences for 7 additional performances. This tuneful hit comedy for the entire family has been extended through July 3, 2010. Annie Get Your Gun is sponsored by Webster Bank and Comcast.

The smash hit from Goodspeed's 2009 Festival of New Artists, this feel-good musical comedy will run from May 13 through June 6, 2010.

Kicking off the season is Band Geeks!, the homegrown smash hit from Goodspeed's 2009 Festival of New Artists. This feel-good musical comedy will run from May 13 through June 6. The darling Radio Girl, based on the much loved classic Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm, will charm audiences July 29 through August 22. The third new musical, which will be announced soon, is scheduled to run October 21 through November 14.

Calling all girls! Here's your chance to join a professional acting company. The birthplace of the hit musical Annie, Goodspeed Musicals is holding auditions for local Equity and Non-Equity child actors (GIRLS between ages 10-13) for its upcoming production of the new musical Radio Girl. Auditions will be held on Saturday, April 24th, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Goodspeed's Norma Terris Theatre in Chester, Conn. From this audition a small group of the luckiest girls will make it to the final round in New York City.

Goodspeed is seeking adult male and female actors for all productions. In addition, girls ages 10-14 and boys ages 8-10 are needed for Annie Get Your Gun. Goodspeed Musicals, under the leadership of Michael P. Price, is thrilled to announce the 2010 musical season at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Conn. The 47th season includes three fantastic musicals that are sure to delight theatregoers: the fun and frolicking Irving Berlin's Annie Get Your Gun will run from April 16 - June 27; the second production, Carnival! featuring such memorable classics as "Love Makes the World Go 'Round," will run from July 9 - September 18; and the Tony Award-winning How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying will run from September 24 - November 28.

The Fifth Annual Goodspeed Festival of New Artists, produced by Goodspeed Musicals' Max Showalter Center for Education in the Musical Theater, kicks off its much anticipated three day festival of brand new works on Friday, January 15, at the Goodspeed Opera House with a staged reading of Hello Out There. On Saturday, January 16, the triple feature musical ReWrite debuts.  On the final day of the festival, Lincoln in Love will be presented. Several special events will round out this exciting weekend.
