Julia Roberts may be the next A-lister to make a guest cameo on GLEE, according to GLEE star Jane Lynch. Lynch reveals to Access Hollywood that during the Golden Globe Award ceremony on January 17th, Roberts approached the cast of GLEE, and creator Ryan Murphy with an idea about a role she would be interested in playing on the show.

Kathryn Bigelow won the DGA's Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film for The Hurt Locker. Following the welcome by DGA President Taylor Hackford to an audience of more than 1,600 guests, director/actor Carl Reiner hosted the ceremony.

The Aussielo Files of Entertainment Weekly today reveals the identity of the third Gleek addition debuting in Season 2. The Files reported earlier in the month that the first new character is an 'Eve Harrington-esque rival for Rachel,' while the second is a 'gay jock-slash-boyfriend for Kurt.'

It's no surprise that FOX's powerhouse new hit GLEE's soundtracks are popular, and Columbia Records have confirmed just how popular they are: both soundtracks (Glee: The Music, Volume 1, and Volume 2) released last fall have been certified Gold by RIAA for sales in excess of 500,000 units. Volume 1 entered the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart at #4 in its debut week, and Volume 2 debuted at #3. Both volumes continue to be in the top 20 best selling albums this week. GLEE is selling extremely well in digital sales as well: over 4 million songs from GLEE have been downloaded - and that's just since last May.

GLEE's Jane Lynch will wed her longtime girlfriend, Dr. Lara Embry, according to published reports. Embry is a psychologist who made news last year for her involvement in a custody case with a former partner that made headlines in Florida. For her role in the case, Embry received a Justice Award from the NCLR. Lynch tells the New York Times that the wedding will take place in May.

Today, the first tour cities have been revealed! According to gleefan.com, 'The cities that have been 100% confirmed are: Orlando, New York, LA, Dallas, Denver, Minneapolis, and Portland.'

In a story for Interview Magazine, Dianna Agron, who plays GLEE's resident dethroned head cheerleader Quinn Fabray, reveals that the producers for the Fox hit TV show were initially hesitant to cast her because she exuded too much innocence for the role of Quinn. 'They told me to come back with straight hair and to dress sexier," she says. "Later that week, I started work."

As previously reported, Idina Menzel will join the cast of GLEE for a guest appearance when the hit series returns from hiatus in April.

The intimate series of concerts will feature not only some familiar Broadway hits but also a few songs close to the singer-actor's heart, some of which can be found on her debut album Wonder of the World. She will also sprinkle the show with a few stories and anecdotes from her life: from her early childhood in Oklahoma to her debut on the Great White Way. O'Hara recently sat down for a quick chat with BroadwayWorld to discuss her early influences, her distinguished Broadway roles, and even some of her guilty pleasures.
