The Jazz Bakery and KMP Artists are set to announce the Los Angeles premiere of Stormy Weather: The Lena Horne Project, based on the book Stormy Weather: The Life of Lena Horne by New York Times contributor and NAACP Image Award nominee James Gavin and featuring the musical talents of pianist Larry Dunlap, bassist Christopher Colangelo, drummer Kendall Kay and the legendary Mary Wilson.

Performances take place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 2pm. No performance on September 18. There will be an additional performance on Wednesday, October 5 at 7pm. Tickets are currently available as part of a 3 and 4 play subscriptions. Individual tickets are also on sale. Tickets are $25.
