Deadline writes that stage and screen star Christian Borle is in final talks to join NBC's PETER PAN LIVE as 'Smee' and 'Mr. Darling'. Borle will return for the network special from executive producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron on December 4, following his role as 'Max' in last year's THE SOUND OF MUSIC LIVE.

The hills of Kansas City will soon come alive with The Sound of Music, and talented performers from Broadway and Kansas City stages will lead the way to Starlight Theatre. The classic musical from Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II is the fourth production of Starlight's 2014 Broadway season. It opens tonight, July 25 and runs seven consecutive nights through Thursday, July 31. A special Monday night performance is scheduled for July 28.
Broadway and television actress, Sondra Lee, made a special trip to Glen Ridge to have a talkback with the cast of Gas Lamp Academy of Performing Arts's Peter Pan on Tuesday, July 15. Sondra Lee originated the role of Tiger Lilly in the 1954 Broadway production of Peter Pan as well as the 1955, 1956 and 1960 television broadcasts of Peter Pan working along side the incomparable Mary Martin.
