Broadway leading lady and three-time Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara will open fall season at the legendary Café Carlyle. Before returning to the Broadway stage in the revival of South Pacific (October 13) following the birth of her first child this summer, Ms. O'Hara will offer encore performances of her sold out debut in a two-week engagement beginning Tuesday, September 15th (and playing through September 26th).

The Board of Governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences voted tonight to present the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award to producer-executive John Calley, and Honorary Awards to actress Lauren Bacall, producer-director Roger Corman, and cinematographer Gordon Willis. Anthony Mackie (The Hurt Locker) will play the lead role of Pentheus joining George Bartenieff as Cadmus; André De Shields as Teiresias; Jonathan Groff as Dionysus; Karen Kandel as Chorus Leader; Joan MacIntosh as Agave; Steven Rishard as Cowherd; and Rocco Sisto as Messenger.
