The ABC Television Network announces May sweeps programming, airing through May 23, including series finales of 'Once Upon a Time,' airing May 18; and 'The Middle,' which completes its nine-year run with a special one-hour episode on May 22.

Directed by Tony Award winner Kenny Leon, Children of a Lesser God stars film and television favorite Joshua Jackson and breakout star Lauren Ridloff, alongside Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe Award winner Anthony Edwards, Drama Desk Award nominee and Obie Award winner Kecia Lewis, Julee Cerda, Treshelle Edmond, and John McGinty.

The ABC Television Network has announced midseason premiere dates for the new dramas The Crossing, Deception, For The People and the Grey's Anatomy spinoff, as well as new comedies Alex, Inc. and Splitting Up Together. Sundance Now, AMC Networks' premium video streaming service announced today that its new original relationship dramedy, This Close will premiere on Valentine's Day Wednesday, February 14. The news comes on the heels of the series' acceptance into the 2018 Sundance Film Festival as part of the Fest's new Indie Episodic showcase. The upcoming scripted series, the streaming service's first ever straight-to-series order, is based on a series of shorts that was featured at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival's Short Form Episodic Showcase.

The Boston Jewish Film Festival has announced the official selections for this year's festival.

Producer Hal Luftig announced today that Mark Medoff's landmark play, Children of a Lesser God, will return to Broadway this spring for the first time since its Tony Award-winning premiere production.  Starring Joshua Jackson and introducing Lauren Ridloff, both making their Broadway debuts, and directed by Tony Award-winner Kenny Leon, Children of a Lesser God will begin performances at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street) on Thursday, March 22nd.  Opening night is set for Wednesday, April 11, 2018.
