Both are founding partners of Dodger Properties, which is responsible for over 150 productions of some of the most successful theatre on Broadway (56 Tony Awards), Off-Broadway and internationally. New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) has announced that its 2014 Spring Gala will honor Tony Award-winning director Des McAnuff and President of The Dodgers Michael David. Both are founding partners of Dodger Properties, which is responsible for over 150 productions of some of the most successful theatre on Broadway (56 Tony Awards), Off-Broadway and internationally. The gala will take place on Monday, May 12 at The Grand Ballroom of The Plaza Hotel, beginning at 6:30pm.

Co-Hosts Judith Light and Christopher Sieber announced the nominations for the 2014 Drama League Awards, including Distinguished Production of a Play, Distinguished Production of a Musical, Distinguished Revival of a Play, Distinguished Revival of a Musical, and the much coveted Distinguished Performance Award. The 2014 Drama League Nomination announcement begins the month of celebrations leading up to the 80th Annual Drama League Awards, which will be held at the Marriott Marquis Times Square (1535 Broadway) on Friday, May 16, 2014 at noon hosted by Broadway veteran Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

Barneys New York, the luxury specialty retailer, launched today the Spring 2014 campaign, Brothers, Sisters, Sons & Daughters, shot by iconic photographer and filmmaker Bruce Weber. The campaign features 17 transgender individuals with diverse experiences and unique personal stories, and will be showcased as a limited edition portfolio and through a series of short films by Weber.

Barneys New York, the luxury specialty retailer, announced that it will return to its downtown roots on 7th Avenue between 17 th Street and 16 th Street with a significant flagship slated to open within 2017. An original presence in the Chelsea neighborhood spanning 90 years, the new Barneys New York flagship will occupy a major portion of its former historic store, providing a unique shopping experience currently absent in the downtown market.

Back in July, Barneys announced that they were retiring the Co-op name. Co-op was known for its more casual mix of premium denim and contemporary brands for men and women. The Co-op concept was first introduced in 1986 as a lower-priced option for younger consumers. It has since existed as freestanding stores and on the seventh and eighth floors of Barneys New York's Madison Avenue flagship. 'Lower prices was the intention when the Co-op began 27 years ago,' Mark Lee, Barneys chief executive officer said. 'The Co-op offered the spirit of Barneys style at a lower price before contemporary and secondary collections existed. With everything we're doing, it's more about the edit now. It's about how we curate these small specialty stores.'
