According to the Daily Mail, Heather Headley travels from Chicago to London next month to begin rehearsals for The Bodyguard musical, which opens Nov. 6 at the Adelphi Theatre. She will play Rachel Marron, a role originated by Whitney Houston on the silver screen.

Comedian Jason Manford will join the company as "Italian" barber Pirelli for four weeks in July this year, covering for Robert Burt, who is scheduled to sing at Glyndebourne Festival 2012.
