Never seen since its original New York run, LEGS DIAMOND kicks off the third season of MUSICAL THEATRE WEST'S REINER READING SERIES on December 2, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.

The Musicals Tonight! Inc. revival of Fade Out - Fade In, a musical with a book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green and music by Jule Styne, will run from October 16 to October 28 at the Lion Theatre. The production is directed by Thomas Sabella-Mills with musical direction by David Bishop.

According to BBC News, the Russian city of Rostov's philharmonic has canceled a production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar due to protests by Orthodox Christians.

The Media Theatre's Teen Ensemble will perform JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR July 13 to August 5 in a contemporary style production. Featuring a live rock band with music direction by the theatre's resident music director Tom Fosnocht, the show brings Webber's stage musical to a new generation and is directed by Jesse Cline.

Whatsonstage.com reports today that Andrew Lloyd Webber's next project may involve searching for a new Jesus. The maestro is reportedly in talks for a new reality talent show that would focus on finding the next 'Jesus' for a stadium tour of Jesus Christ Superstar in 2012. The tour could kick off in the US before heading to London't O2 Arena.
