The Sunday Series at Abingdon will present A LITTLE BIT OF THIS AND THAT, a special one night only workshop benefit performance on September 22 of three new one acts by New York-based playwright Charles Messina. Proceeds will benefit the programs of the not-for-profit Abingdon Theatre.

Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts has added more than a dozen new performances to its star-studded 2013-14 season. Among the highlights will be concerts with the retro-hip, multilingual 'little orchestra' Pink Martini on Jan. 21 and Grammy Award-winning singer Aaron Neville onMarch 22; actor Denis O'Hare (HBO's True Blood) performing An Iliad, a one-man show based on Homer's epic about the Trojan War, on April 3-4; and a night of irreverent stand-up with actor and comedian Mario Cantone (Sex and the City) on May 10.

SILENCE! THE MUSICAL will play a special added holiday performance today at the Elektra Theatre in the heart of Times Square. The show, which normally plays at 5 PM on Sundays, will have two performances today at 2 & 7 PM.
