Rapper Snoop Lion, who has been one of the most outspoken proponents of ending gun violence, has joined with singer Tony Bennett to support VOICES AGAINST VIOLENCE, a campaign launched last month by Bennett, his son and manager Danny Bennett and the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence. The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas will come alive with the fantasy, food, fun and romance of Italy during CARNEVALE, a three-month celebration of the summer festivals of Italy, May 27 through Sept. 8, 2013. Based on the highly successful premier in 2012, the festival will be expanded to feature 300 experiences throughout the summer, including many exclusively for The Venetian and The Palazzo guests and Grazie members.
During today's show, co-host Clinton Kelly announced that thechew.com is joining in the celebration of Cinco de Mayo with the launch of "Latin Flavors," a devoted section of the website that will give viewers a one-stop-shopping resource for Latin-themed culture and cuisine.
