THE MEETING Returns to The Duplex, 4/21

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, called 'a riotously funny and campy variety show' by Next Magazine, and 'a rollicking, wry affair complete with funny political commentary on current events' by Gay City News, will present their newest edition on Thursday, April 21 at 9:30 PM. The acclaimed monthly comedy/variety show is a gay romp through politics - sexual and otherwise - social news, music, skits, and other important life-changing information. Justin Sayre and The Meeting* were nominated for a 2011 MAC Award for Best Male Comedy Performance. The April show will feature a tribute to legendary singer Dusty Springfield with special guests Molly Pope and Gabrielle Stravelli.

Justin is a child of Forty Fort, Pennsylvania who moved to New York believing it was still 1947. He was terribly misinformed. In 2006, Justin received rave reviews for his solo show 'Without A Song.'

Sierra Boggess to Star in West End REBECCA?

REBECCA The Musical, based on the 1938 novel by Daphne Du Maurier, is said to be headed to the West End in 2011 possibly following FLASHDANCE into the Shaftesbury Theatre reports the UK Daily Mail. In talks to play Mrs. de Winter in the show is current Christine in LOVE NEVER DIES and former star of THE LITTLE MERMAID - Sierra Boggess.
