Carrie Fisher will perform her WISHFUL DRINKING at the South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) June 25 & 26. It now appears that the performance will be filmed for future release.

St. Ann's Warehouse has announced the attendees for its upcoming Gala to celebrate its 30 year anniversary. The event will include FELA! star Sahr Ngaujah, who plays the title role in the hit Broadway musical, alongside the FELA! band.

Following the recent death of the legendary songwriter and creator of the internationally-renowned Alan Parsons Project, Eric Woolfson, the late composer's musical POE -- about the life and works of Edgar Allan Poe -- is being introduced in the U.S. with the release of the CD, 'POE' (subtitled 'More Tales of Mystery and Imagination') and DVD, 'POE, The World Premiere Showcase Performance at Abbey Road Studios' on April 6, 2010.

Bill Frisell, Ron Carter, and Paul Motian - three of the top players on their respective instruments - will take the Blue Note stage in early December for a special series of trio concerts. The three legends recorded an album in 2006 for Nonesuch records under their own name, but rarely play together live. Brought back by popular demand, the group will reunite at the Blue Note from February 23 - 28.
