Signature Theatre is presenting the US premiere of TITLE AND DEED, a new play by Will Eno and directed by Judy Hegarty Lovett, which opened yesterday, May 20. The production, starring Conor Lovett, will run through June 17, 2012 in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at the Company's new home The Pershing Square Signature Center. Today, May 18, legendary American opera soprano Lauren Flanigan, known for creating memorable contemporary opera roles, stars in 'Lauren Flanigan's 4th Annual 50th Birthday Bash,' presented by American Opera Projects and Music and Mentoring House. The evening is a marathon concert of fifty-four (54) rarely-heard songs performed by Flanigan and friends. Harlem's historic Italian bistro Ristorante Settepani, 196 Lenox Ave. at 120th St., will serve a special menu of Lauren's favorite appetizers and entrees. Proceeds go towards American Opera Projects' Composers & the Voice program that commissions, develops, and presents contemporary opera.

The award-winning Lighthouse Youth Theater (LYT) presents the first Youth Theater Production in Westchester County of LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL. Having won over audiences across the nation, Elle, Bruiser and friends will make their LYT debut for ONE WEEKEND ONLY limited engagement. Rehearsals begin today, May 15th for 7th MONARCH, a new play by Jim Henry, featuring Tony Award winner Michael Rupert. The Off-Broadway premiere of 7th MONARCH is set to play a limited engagement at Theatre Row's Acorn Theatre June 12th through September 9th. Opening night is Sunday, June 24th. In addition to Michael Rupert, the cast of 7th MONARCH features Michael Cullen, Gretchen Hall, Leslie Hendrix and Matthew Humphreys, under the direction of Scott C. Embler.

Producers Hal Luftig and Scott Sanders announced today that the Tony Award Nominated Best Revival of a Musical, Tim Rice's and Andrew Lloyd Webber's EVITA, will launch a first national tour in the fall of 2013 at Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, Rhode Island. Mint Theater today announced the cast for the first-ever revival of Love Goes To Press by Martha Gellhorn and Virginia Cowles. The Mint production will run from May 26 to July 22 at their home (311 West 43rd Street). Opening Night is set for Monday, June 18th.
