Troika Entertainment and Michael Coppel in association with Hilary Williams, Margot Astrachan Production/Dennis Grimaldi Productions/Paul Lucas Productions/Robert Sher and Paramount Pictures have announced that casting is complete for the first U.S. National Tour of Ghost The Musical based on the film by Bruce Joel Rubin and Paramount Pictures. The supernatural power of love is taking North America by storm as the new Broadway and West End musical Ghost The Musical, adapted from the Academy Award-winning film, launches its first national tour in Schenectady, NY, at Proctors Theater on September 14, 2013.

Leading Australian theatre producer John Frost has announced that the role of Miss Lynch in the upcoming multi-million dollar production of GREASE will be played by television and theatre veteran Val Lehman.

TAMAR OF THE RIVER will star Margo Seibert (Saving Aimee, Circus in Winter at Playwrights Horizons, Next to Normal at the Weston Playhouse) as Tamar with Ako (Throne of Blood), Noah Galvin (Burnt Part Boys), Erik Lochtefeld (February House), Mike Longo (Hair) and Vince B. Signature Theatre will present the the world premiere of stop. reset., written and directed by ReGina Taylor, this fall. The Dallas Opera is pleased to announce that “theatrically masterly” (Seattle Times) German/American stage director Chris Alexander, has agreed to stage our season-opening production of Georges Bizet's CARMEN, starring French mezzo-soprano Clémentine Margaine in her American debut. Born in Provo, Utah but a life-long resident of Germany, Alexander recently received critical acclaim for his staging of Seattle Opera's production of Beethoven's Fidelio (Mr. Alexander is a favorite of opera audiences in the Pacific Northwest), as well as Cincinnati Opera's presentation of Der Rosenkavalier by Richard Strauss earlier this summer.
