Johanna Day, Alex Dreier, Sonya Harum & More Set for Signature's APPROPRIATE; Performances Begin 2/25 Off-Broadway

Signature Theatre has announced casting is confirmed and tickets are now on sale for the New York premiere of APPROPRIATE, by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins and directed by Liesl Tommy. All tickets for the initial run of the production are $25 as part of the Signature Ticket Initiative: A Generation of Access. The production runs February 25 through April 6, 2014 with a March 16 opening night in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues).

Ballet NY's 2014 New York City Season Set for Ailey Citigroup Theater, 4/15-17

Ballet NY presents its 2014 Season, including In the Garden of Souls, the company premieres of Kinderszenen, Dreams, and excerpts from Urban Study, from April 15-17, 2014 at the Ailey Citigroup Theater, 405 West 55th Street, NYC (at Ninth Avenue). Anastasia Korbal Stars in Media Theatre's THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK, Now thru 2/16

The Media Theatre is producing the 1997 adaptation of the legendary play 'The Diary of Anne Frank' today, January 29 to February 16, 2014. Wendy Kesselman adapted the play when it was revived on Broadway, based on the original text by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett. The revival was nominated for several Tony awards.

Salonga, Harris and Zamora Lead Benefit Concert in Manila Tonight

Tonight and tomorrow, January 29 & 30, the creators of the international musical sensations Les Miserables and Miss Saigon will present a special concert celebrating their work at the Newport Performing Arts Theatre in Manila to raise funds to offer humanitarian relief and assist the rebuilding efforts after parts of the Philippines were left devastated in the wake of Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan).
