Beginning Monday, October 28, Broadway's Tony Award-winning, record-breaking smash hit musical CHICAGO will welcome two-time Tony Award nominee Christopher Fitzgerald in the starring role of Roxie's all-but-invisible husband, 'Mister Cellophane' Amos Hart.

Manhattan Theatre Club and MCC Theater co-produce the world premiere of The Snow Geese, a new play by Sharr White, directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan, starring Tony and Emmy Award winner Mary-Louise Parker. The strictly limited 11-week engagement of The Snow Geese began previews Tuesday, October 1 and opens tonight, October 24, on Broadway at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street).

Stephen Fry, who is making his Broadway acting debut as Malvolio in the critically acclaimed Shakespeare's Globe production of TWELFTH NIGHT, will be a guest on 'The Colbert Report' on Thursday, October 24. 'The Colbert Report' airs at 11:30 PM ET on Comedy Central, 10:30 PM Central.

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director), Barry Grove (Executive Producer), and Mandy Greenfield (Artistic Producer) are pleased to announce Tony Award winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur) returns to Manhattan Theatre Club in TALES FROM RED VIENNA, the world premiere play by David Grimm (Measure for Pleasure), directed by Kate Whoriskey (Ruined at MTC). TALES FROM RED VIENNA will begin previews Wednesday, February 26, 2014 and open Tuesday, March 18 at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street). Tickets for this production are currently on sale through Sunday, April 27.

New York City Center has announced full casting for the New York premiere of Matthew Bourne's SLEEPING BEAUTY, which runs todya, October 23 - November 3, 2013 at City Center (West 55th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues).

City Theatre continues its 2013-2014 season with Charles Ives Take Me Home, a music-filled journey by Jessica Dickey. Directed by Matt M. Morrow, Charles Ives Take Me Home runs from November 9 to December 15, 2013 in City Theatre's Hamburg Studio, with an Opening Night performance on Friday, November 15 at 8pm.

David Wilson Barnes (Becky Shaw at Second Stage Theatre and London's Almeida Theatre) plays Charlie Duff, a burnt-out local newscaster who transforms first his community and then himself when he begins praying on-air in the Huntington Theatre Company's new production of Stephen Belber's moving new drama The Power of Duff. Amy Pietz ('The Office,' 'Caroline in the City') plays Duff's ex-wife Lisa, and Jennifer Westfeldt (Kissing Jessica Stein, Friends with Kids) plays Sue, Charlie's co-anchor, in the production helmed by Huntington Artistic Director Peter DuBois. Dallas Theater Center announced today the complete creative team of the world premiere new musical The Fortress of Solitude, a co-production with The Public Theater in New York City. The Fortress of Solitude, based on the novel of the same name by Jonathan Lethem, is conceived and directed by Daniel Aukin, with a book by Itamar Moses, and music and lyrics by Michael Friedman. It will premiere at the Wyly Theatre with previews on March 7, 2014 and run through April 6.

MCC THEATER (Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey, William Cantler, Artistic Directors; Blake West, Executive Director) just announced that two-time Tony Award winner Judith Light (The Assembled Parties, Other Desert Cities) has been elected to the MCC Board of Directorseffective immediately. Ms. Light began her relationship with MCC in 1999 with a universally-acclaimed performance in Margaret Edson's Wit, and most recently in March 2013 was the honoree at MCC's annual Miscast gala celebrating her illustrious screen and stage career; her appearances in MCC productions, which in addition to Wit includes 2005's Colder Than Here; and her impassioned advocacy of several causes, most especially Arts in Education.

Amas Musical Theatre will present three free staged readings of 'Bleeding Love, a post-apocalyptic new musical comedy', book by Jason Schafer, music by Arthur Lafrentz Bacon, lyrics by Harris Doran, directed by Michael Bush.
