Cartoon Network's Adventure Time will take its place among the legends, flying down the storied route of the 87th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. On Thursday, November 28th, Finn and Jake, Adventure Time's resident stars, will take to the sky to awe millions of fans across the nation. Created by Pendleton Ward, Cartoon Network's Adventure Time brings the Epic tale of two unlikely heroes Finn, the human and his best friend Jake, the dog, to life as they embark on heart-pounding escapades all over the mystical Land of Ooo.
Goodman Theatre Launches 'Goodman Innovation Group' to Unite Theatre and Tech Entrepreneurs

The newly-formed Goodman Innovation Group unites top-tier entrepreneurs with young theater leaders in a collective that injects the start-up mentality into the business of the theater. The 20-member group was developed by Patricia Cox, Goodman Life Trustee and Immediate Past Chairman, along with Chicago entrepreneur Genevieve Thiers, as an opportunity to share ideas between the established non-profit arts organization and Chicago's brand new companies. The goals of the group are to engage young entrepreneurs in the vision, values and programs of Goodman Theatre; create professional development opportunities for the next generation of theater leaders; and identify initiatives emphasizing new technologies and further insights that advance the Goodman's mission and priorities.

Mirror Stage's popular Feed Your Mind staged reading series returns this fall with the incendiary RACE by David Mamet, presented in partnership with the Pacific Science Center and Swimming Ophelia Ensemble at the Ethnic Cultural Theatre on September 28 and 29, 2013. Main Street Theater's 2012-2013 Theater for Youth Season is closing with a musical presentation of ALICE IN WONDERLAND. The Prince Street Players, founded in New York City in 1965, originated the production, which featured Adaptation, Book, and Lyrics by Jim Eiler with Music by Jim Eiler and Jeanne Bargy. Main Street Theater's production captures the frenetic whimsy of Wonderland, complimented by the cast's resounding and remarkable youthful energy.

YALE REPERTORY THEATRE (James Bundy, Artistic Director; Victoria Nolan, Managing Director) has announced that Rene Augesen will play Blanche DuBois and Joe Manganiello will play Stanley Kowalski in its first-ever production of A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE, the Pulitzer Prize winning masterpiece by Tennessee Williams. Directed by Mark Rucker, the production, which will open Yale Rep's 2013-14 season, will play September 20-October 12, at the University Theatre (222 York Street).
