Cartoon Network's Adventure Time will take its place among the legends, flying down the storied route of the 87th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. On Thursday, November 28th, Finn and Jake, Adventure Time's resident stars, will take to the sky to awe millions of fans across the nation. Created by Pendleton Ward, Cartoon Network's Adventure Time brings the Epic tale of two unlikely heroes Finn, the human and his best friend Jake, the dog, to life as they embark on heart-pounding escapades all over the mystical Land of Ooo.

The newly-formed Goodman Innovation Group unites top-tier entrepreneurs with young theater leaders in a collective that injects the start-up mentality into the business of the theater. The 20-member group was developed by Patricia Cox, Goodman Life Trustee and Immediate Past Chairman, along with Chicago entrepreneur Genevieve Thiers, as an opportunity to share ideas between the established non-profit arts organization and Chicago's brand new companies. The goals of the group are to engage young entrepreneurs in the vision, values and programs of Goodman Theatre; create professional development opportunities for the next generation of theater leaders; and identify initiatives emphasizing new technologies and further insights that advance the Goodman's mission and priorities.

The musical, which first premiered in 1985, has enjoyed over 8,000 productions worldwide and has been translated into over 20 languages. This summer Texas Repertory Theatre Compnay is producing the classic and clever musical. Their spin on the material leaves audiences rolling in the aisles and clamoring for more.

Main Street Theater's 2012-2013 Theater for Youth Season is closing with a musical presentation of ALICE IN WONDERLAND. The Prince Street Players, founded in New York City in 1965, originated the production, which featured Adaptation, Book, and Lyrics by Jim Eiler with Music by Jim Eiler and Jeanne Bargy. Main Street Theater's production captures the frenetic whimsy of Wonderland, complimented by the cast's resounding and remarkable youthful energy.

The gifted songwriter and dazzling singer has won two Grammy's, two MTV Awards and sold over 15 million records. David Murray is a Grammy award winner who is considered by many to be among the greatest and most versatile saxophonist, composers, and bandleaders this country has produced. This show will celebrate the release of his latest album, Be My Monster Love, available June 11th.

In the fall of 2008, Melanie Tioleco-Cheng received the news that no expectant mother ever wants to hear. Her baby was diagnosed with Trisomy 18. As a physician, she knew exactly what this meant for her second child, Macy, and even more about how little her chance of survival was in light of her heart and lung problems. But, how would Melanie explain this to her two-year-old? How does a parent talk about what to expect in the hospital? How can anyone prepare a child for a baby sibling who will not live for very long?

YALE REPERTORY THEATRE (James Bundy, Artistic Director; Victoria Nolan, Managing Director) has announced that Rene Augesen will play Blanche DuBois and Joe Manganiello will play Stanley Kowalski in its first-ever production of A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE, the Pulitzer Prize winning masterpiece by Tennessee Williams. Directed by Mark Rucker, the production, which will open Yale Rep's 2013-14 season, will play September 20-October 12, at the University Theatre (222 York Street).

Kairos Italy Theater (KIT), the preeminent Italian theater company in New York City, presents In Scena! Italian Theater Festival NY, the first Italian theater festival to take place annually in all five New York City boroughs and beyond. The inaugural festival will be now through June 20, 2013. Spare Stage, the award-winning Bay Area theatre company, presents Oleanna, David Mamet's exploration of sexual politics in academia, for two weekends only, tonight, June 6-16 at EXIT's Studio Theatre, 156 Eddy Street in downtown San Francisco.
