Atlantic for Kids 2015-2016 Season will open Saturday, October 10 with the world premiere of the new family musical The Velveteen Rabbit, by Cormac Bluestone and Anya Saffir, based on the beloved children's book by Margery Williams Bianco.

Pie Man Theatre Company (PMTC), in association with New YORK Theatre Company, will present Best Enemies, the latest comedy-drama from Maine playwright Michael Kimball. Best Enemies is an intricate, hilarious and touching portrayal of two 'cowboys' stranded together on a tiny tropical desert island when the rodeo cruise ship on which they were traveling blows up and sinks.

Westport Country Playhouse will present a community engagement initiative, 'The Individual & American Society: Celebrating Arthur Miller at One Hundred,' September 24 through October 26. The series of events, many of which are free-of-charge, will run concurrently with the Playhouse's production of Miller's 'Broken Glass,' directed by Mark Lamos. The Tony Award-nominated play takes place at the time of Kristallnacht, The Night of Broken Glass, in Nazi Germany, as a Brooklyn Jewish couple's marriage begins to shatter.

The Toronto International Film Festival® today announced award winners from the 40th Festival, which wraps up this evening. TIFF held a free screening of Room, the winner of the Grolsch People's Choice Award, Sunday, September 20 at 8pm.

Through out the past week, BroadwayWorld has been brinigng you coverage of the 67th Annual Emmy Awards with a decidedly theatre-specific focus, and tonight will be no different. Get out your boogie shoes and head to the disco with the mega-musical Saturday Night Fever on stage at the Ogunquit Playhouse from September 23 to October 25. Catalina Film Festival (CFF) today announced featured tributes and events for the Sept. 24 - 27 festival, held on the famed Catalina Island. Among the honorees for the 5th annual Festival are inaugural recipient of the Soundtrack of Our Lives Award, legendary songwriter Diane Warren; Avalon Award recipient, Mena Suvari (American Beauty, American Pie); Isla Earth Award recipient, Kristin Davis (Sex & the City, Couples Retreat); and Crest Award recipient, Lucas Till (X-Men: Apocalypse, Bravetown). CFF will also pay tribute to Wes Craven, a supporter of the Festival who graciously founded the annual Craven Award for excellence in horror filmmaking and personally selected the winning films.

Five self-absorbed customers find themselves trapped together in Starbucks in the latest off-beat comedy from Emmy Award-winning writer Peter Lefcourt.
