Betty R. and Ralph Sheffer Foundation and The League of Professional Theatre Women will present Award-winning actress TYNE DALY for the next Oral History interview on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 6:00 pm at the Bruno Walter Auditorium of the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts on 65th Street & Amsterdam Avenue. Buffalo Theatre Ensemble (BTE) presents the first work of its 2013 - 2014 Season, Ken Ludwig's 'Leading Ladies,' directed by BTE Ensemble member Kurt Naebig, in the Building K Theatre at the College of DuPage 425 Fawell Blvd., Glen Ellyn, Ill. tonight, Sept. 6 - 22. A preview will be held Thursday Sept. 5. Press opening is Friday, Sept. 6, 8 p.m. Single tickets go on sale Wednesday, August 14.

The All-Girl Theater Company, founded by two NYU Tisch grads, Katie Cappiello and Meg McInerney, has garnered the attention of some of the most influential women in America with their past productions - including Hillary Clinton, Gloria Steinem, and Amy Poehler. But the duo, along with the the company's group of 14-17 year old girls, are completely focused on a new venture: SLUT, THE PLAY.

The 17th annual The New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC), the largest multi-arts festival in North America continues through August 25, 2013. The festival offers programming from 185 of the world's best emerging theatre troupes and dance companies in 20 venues in downtown Manhattan. With attendance topping 75,000 people, FringeNYC is New York City's fifth largest annual public event (just behind NY International Auto Show, Tribeca Film Fest, NYC Marathon, and Comic Con). Shows represent 13 countries and 17 U.S. states, plus an array of genres including drama, comedy, classical theater, dance, performance art, puppetry, clowning, and children's theater.
