Centenary Stage Company's family favorite smash hit holiday spectacular, A CHRISTMAS CAROL: THE MUSICAL is now in its final weekend in the Lackland Center. 

Happy Birthday, Graciela Daniele! As a performer, Daniele made her Broadway debut in What Makes Sammy Run? in 1964. She studied with Martha Graham and Merce Cunningham while working with such luminaries as Bob Fosse, Agnes de Mille, and Michael Bennett, who hired her to assist him with Follies in 1971. Her first credit as a full-fledged choreographer was the 1979 revival of The Most Happy Fella. She has directed and/or choreographed several musicals of Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, including, most recently, The Glorious Ones (2007) and Dessa Rose (2005) at the Off-Broadway Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater at Lincoln Center. She has directed and/or choreographed several musicals of Michael John LaChiusa Off-Broadway, most recently Bernarda Alba (2006) and Little Fish (2003).

Theatreworks USA will kick off its 2016 weekend family performance series on Saturday January 9th with Junie B.'s Essential Survival Guide To School, the New York premiere of the new children's musical based on the best-selling series of books by Barbara Park, penned by Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich (Ever After, Dear Edwina, Theatreworks USA's acclaimed hit Junie B. Jones).

SEUSSICAL, with music by Stephen Flaherty, lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, and book by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty; based on the works of Dr. Seuss, plays Fridays through Sundays through December 20, 2015 at NextStop Theatre Company, in Herndon, Virginia. The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts announces a new partnership with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) and DreamWorks Studios to present the highly successful annual program, The ASCAP Foundation Musical Theatre Workshop. Now in its 23rd year under the leadership of Artistic Director Stephen Schwartz, the workshop -- giving selected composers and lyricists the opportunity to present selections from original musical works in progress for professional critique -- will take place at The Wallis in Beverly Hills from Feb. 16-18, 2016, with submissions now being accepted. The application deadline is Dec. 16, 2015.

The Downtown Performing Arts Center of Lambertville, NJ and Curtain Up Productions are ready to ring in the holiday season with two special productions: A Christmas Carol and A Charlie Brown Christmas.

The fantastical, magical musical Seussical will open November 11 and run through December 30, 2015 with a press opening on Saturday, November 21 at The Marriott Theatre for Young Audiences, 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire, IL. Check out a preview of the show below!

Quest Theatre Ensemble will bring its visual artistry and immersive theatricality to the Alan Menken-Lynn Ahrens musical version of Dickens' A Christmas Carol. This version with music by Menken, the multiple Oscar winning composer of Disney musicals Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and Newsies; and lyrics by the Tony award-winning lyricist of Ragtime, Seussical and Once on this Island, was a hit for ten consecutive seasons at New York's Madison Square Garden and was later filmed by television in a production starring Kelsey Grammer as Scrooge. Quest's production will be directed by Quest Ensemble Director Andrew Park. A Christmas Carol will run from November 20 - December 20, 2015.
