GREASE is still the word, and the new multi-million dollar production of GREASE, opens in Sydney tonight!

You need to move like 'Greased lightning' as there are only two weeks left to catch the multimillion dollar new Australian production of GREASE at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre's (QPAC) Lyric Theatre.

Tickets are on sale for 'LIGHT THE NIGHT 2013', a musical theatre extravaganza featuring some of Australia's most popular musical theatre performers including GREASE star Lucy Maunder and the sensational Trevor Ashley. Raising much needed funds for the Arrow Bone Marrow Transplant Foundation, the popular event will be held at City Recital Hall on Monday October 28th at 7.30pm. Hosting the 2013 concert will be LIGHT THE NIGHT Ambassador and International musical therapist, Jan van de Stool - alter ego of award winning, musical theatre royalty Queenie van der Zandt.

GREASE is still the word, as Australian theatre producer John Frost today revealed the cast and tour dates for his new multi-million dollar production of GREASE, which will open as an Australian premiere at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) tonight, 27 August 2013.

The multimillion dollar new Australian production of GREASE has its Australian Premiere this Sunday August 25 at the Lyric Theatre, Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC).

Leading Australian theatre producer John Frost has announced that the role of Miss Lynch in the upcoming multi-million dollar production of GREASE will be played by television and theatre veteran Val Lehman.

Theatre producer John Frost and Universal Music have announced that they will be releasing a cast album of GREASE featuring the new Australian cast.GREASE - The Australian Cast Recording will feature all the unforgettable GREASE favourites, including You're The One That I Want, Grease Is The Word, Summer Nights, Hopelessly Devoted To You, Sandy, Greased Lightnin' and many more.

The 13th Annual Helpmann Awards ceremony will feature some of Australia's most talented and celebrated performers. This year joining co-hosts Eddie Perfect and Christie Whelan Browne on stage as presenters will be Bert Newton, Tina Arena, Erika Heynatz, Patrick Brammall, Chloe Dallimore, Rob Mills, Ashley Zuckerman, Miranda Tapsell, John Watersand Sharon Millerchip. These presenters and more will be announcing the winners of the 43 awards recognising distinguished artistic achievement and excellence across the major disciplines of Australia's live performance industry. In addition to the star studded list of presenters, the ceremony will include a line-up of incredible performances showcasing Australia's unique and diverse live performance industry. Tim Minchin fresh from his role in Jesus Christ Superstar and his huge success with Matilda on Broadway will be making a very special appearance on the night.

GREASE is still the word - due to an unprecedented demand for tickets, an additional week of performances has been added to the Brisbane season. Leading Australian theatre producer John Frost today announced that performances for his multi-million dollar production of GREASE will now commence in Brisbane on Tuesday August 20 instead of August 27, with the official opening night on Sunday August 25 at 6pm.

Arts Centre Melbourne will be open all day this ANZAC Day public holiday Thursday 25 April. With tours and shows, including the Aperitivo Tours of our venues and the Aussie Rules epic Barassi The Stage Show, there will be plenty to keep visitors entertained in the city after the iconic ANZAC Day celebrations conclude.
