Raue Center For The Arts is excited to welcome the Voices in Harmony choir for a beautiful holiday tradition at 4 p.m. on December 11, 2016. The choir and the community will join their voices together in harmony for a sing-along performance of Handel's "Messiah."

Raue Center For The Arts is excited to announce the return of Lisa Rock and her six-piece band as they pay tribute to the music of Karen and Richard Carpenter in "Close to You: The Music of The Carpenters" at 7 p.m. on October 30, 2016.

A brand new, family-friendly musical comes to the stage at Upper Darby Performing Arts Center on November 4 at 7:30 pm. The one-hour musical, Skippyjon Jones Snow What, is based on the book by Delaware County resident and NY Times bestselling author, Judith Schachner. The delightful show is performed by the professional and distinguished touring company, Theatreworks USA, and features the Siamese cat who thinks he's a Chihuahua made famous in the book series.

Stargazers Ball, Raue Center's annual black-tie gala fundraiser, will be held at the beautiful Bull Valley Golf Club. Attendees are encouraged to don their finest apparel to dance the night away, all while supporting a vital arts organization in McHenry County.

This holiday season, Hillbarn Theatre - the Peninsula's premier community theatre company - will present Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins, the magical high-flying musical that has swept the hearts and imaginations of families around the globe. Based on the books by P.L. Travers and the classic Walt Disney film, Mary Poppins follows the story of young Jane and Michael who have sent many nannies packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of common sense - and a little bit of magic - she teaches the family members how to value each other again. This delightful musical features favorite Mary Poppins tunes including 'A Spoonful of Sugar,' 'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,' 'Jolly Holiday,' 'Let's Go Fly a Kite,' 'Step in Time,' and 'Chim Chiminey.'

Raue Center For The Arts is excited to announce the opening of their new cafe! The quaint and newly renovated cafe is located in the Raue Center lobby at 26 N. Williams Street in downtown Crystal Lake. Come enjoy a good cup of coffee with Raue Center from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday through Friday.
