Craig Smith, Managing Partner of the new Alhambra Theatre & Dining announced this morning that Joyce DeWitt will star in Sam Bobrick's romantic comedy, Remember Me. Miss DeWitt is most widely known to audiences for her starring role as 'Janet Wood' in the ABC Television hit series "Three's Company," but she is no stranger to live theater, working both as actress and director in a stage career which spans over forty years. She recently starred in A Scattered, Smothered and Covered Christmas Musical and the Canadian productions of the 2000 Pulitzer Prize-winning play Dinner With Friends and Alfred Uhry's Tony Award-winning play The Last Night of Ballyhoo.

When Craig Smith talks of the many reasons he bought the Alhambra in August of 2009, he often gets teary-eyed telling the story of his daughter, Macy's, first live theater experience almost 10 years ago - the Wizard of Oz at the Alhambra. So this summer has a special feel to it for Smith as the Alhambra opens its 2012 summer family show on June 6 with the Wizard of Oz.

She recently starred in A SCATTERED, SMOTHERED AND COVERED CHRISTMAS MUSICAL and the Canadian productions of the 2000 Pulitzer Prize-winning play DINNER WITH FRIENDS and Alfred Uhry's Tony Award-winning play THE LAST NIGHT OF BALLYHOO. Other recent stage performances include the North American premiere of the Australian comedy DAYLIGHT SAVINGS, the British farce NOISES OFF, the revival of Cole Porter's ANYTHING GOES, and the Broadway musical OLYMPUS ON MY MIND, for which she completed the cast recording - her first record album.

The Alhambra Theatre & Dining wil present the musical BUDDY: THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY from April 11th through June 3rd.

The long-running Off Broadway favorite Love, Loss, and What I Wore will close tonight, Sunday, March 25, 2012 after playing for two and a half years and 1,013 performances. (March 15th marked the show's landmark 1,000 performance.)

The Alhambra Theatre & Dining wil present the musical BUDDY: THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY from April 11th through June 3rd.

Alhambra Theatre & Dining is set to present to classic HELLO, DOLLY! from February 29th-April 8th. The production will star Sally Struthers.

Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron's LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE, an intimate collection of stories covering some of life's most poignant moments and their corresponding wardrobe, will appear at Detroit's historic Gem Theatre through March 4.

Producer Daryl Roth just announced the complete cast for the final month of the long-running hit show Love, Loss, and What I Wore. Karyn Quackenbush, who has been associated with the show as performer and standby since its first readings in 2009, and Joyce van Patten, who starred as 'Gingy' in the September 2011 cast, will join previously announced cast members Sierra Boggess, Ally Walker and Erica Watson, performing Wednesday, February 29 through Sunday, March 25, which marks the show's 1,013th and final performance.
