Capital Stage announces a change to its 2011-12 schedule. How I Learned to Drive, originally scheduled for a July/August run will open at the midtown theatre on May 19. The Sacramento premiere of Christopher Shinn's Dying City will move to the summer production dates, July 18 - August 12, 2012. 'We're changing the performance schedule of the these two productions to accommodate a scheduling conflict with one of our key artists,' explains Producing Director, Jonathan Williams.
NCTF Announces Finalists for Theater Education Video Competition

This week the National Corporate Theatre Fund (NCTF) announced four finalists in its video competition aimed at highlighting the importance of theater education's contribution to crucial skill development needed for the 21st century workforce. Over 5,000 votes were cast on NCTF's Facebook page, which received over 13,000 visits during the competition.
Julian Ovenden to Star in FINDING NEVERLAND Musical in UK

The Daily Mail UK reports that Julian Ovenden will star in a musical version of the film Finding Neverland, which starred Johhny Depp and Kate Winslet and followed the the story of J.M. Barrie's inspiration for his famous children's book, Peter Pan.
