Monday night, at the National Corporate Theatre Fund's (NCTF) 2012 Annual Chairman's Awards Gala at the Pierre Hotel in New York City, NCTF launched its "Impact Creativity" campaign - a $5 million fundraising effort to support theatre education programs in 19 American cities impacting more than 500,000 youth - with a launch gift of $200,000 from Ernst & Young LLP and its partners and principals.

Continuing its 25th Anniversary Season, the Shakespeare Theatre Company presents Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Strange Interlude. The Old Globe's 2012-13 Season will feature the World Premieres of two new musicals: Allegiance - A New American Musical by Jay Kuo and Lorenzo Thione and A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder by Robert L. Freedman and Steven Lutvak. The season also includes George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion in celebration of the classic play's 100th anniversary and the World Premiere of a new adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House by Anne-Charlotte Hanes Harvey and Kirsten Brandt. Two recent Broadway hits will make their San Diego debuts at the Globe: David Lindsay-Abaire's Good People and Jon Robin Baitz's Other Desert Cities. Rounding out the season are the West Coast Premiere of Bekah Brunstetter's Be a Good Little Widow and the Southern California Premiere of Tarell Alvin McCraney's The Brothers Size.

Tony Award-winner Jim Dale will bring his new one man show to Long Wharf Theatre this June.

Kravis Center for the Performing Arts' presentation of Meredith Vieira Productions presents LIFE IN A MARITAL INSTITUTION (20 years of monogamy in one terrifying hour), starring "This American Life" contributor James Braly. The acclaimed monologist, likened to a new Spalding Gray, comes to West Palm Beach following his sold-out runs in New York City and Philadelphia, to perform his darkly comic tale of attraction, repulsion, death, and the afterlife for two performances.

Mortar Theatre Company will present the world premiere of Bombs, Babes and Bingo by Merri Biechler. The experimental production, directed by Rachel Edwards Harvith, is performed at the mainstage of the newly renamed Luna Central, formerly Live Bait Theatre, 3914 North Clark Street, May 20 - June 17. Previews are Sunday, May 20 at 3 p.m. and Wednesday, May 23 at 7:30 p.m. Opening/Press night is Thursday, May 24 at 7:30 p.m. The performance schedule is Thursdays - Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, May 1. Cesear's Forum will present two one-act plays, ELEGY FOR A LADY by Arthur Miller and THREE WOMEN by Sylvia Plath, in an April-May engagement at Kennedy's Down Under, PlayhouseSquare, Cleveland. The show will play 4/13 to 5/26.
