DreamWorks Theatricals and Neal Street Productions, Ltd. are pleased to announce that the ?big fat hit?* Broadway production of SHREK THE MUSICAL with book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire and music by Jeanine Tesori, directed by Jason Moore, will launch a National Tour in Chicago. SHREK THE MUSICAL will play the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre (24 W. Randolph St.) for a limited engagement beginning in June 2010.

Ken Kleiber of 'That's Kentertainment!' will be welcoming Patricia Resnick (bookwriter of '9 to 5 The Musical') as a guest on 'The Kentertainment Report' segment of the 'Frank DeCaro Show' Thursday April 23rd at Noon on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio, Channel 109. Resnick, also the co-screenwriter of the film '9 to 5', will discuss the upcoming Broadway opening of '9 to 5' The Musical plus other projects inlcuding a Nick, Jr. series she recently wrote and Executive-Produced, plus a new memoir she is currently penning. And, as a happy coincidence, Ms. Resnick wrote the Dolly Parton/James Woods vehicle 'Straight Talk', a film which happens to contain the first on-screen appearance of Ken Kleiber! The Firehouse Theatre Project's 2008-09 regular season comes to a close with the high-spirited production of The Great American Trailer Park Musical by David Nehls (Music & Lyrics) and Betsy Kelso (Book). The show opens Thursday, April 23rd, and runs through Saturday, May 16.

Medicine Show THEATRE ENSEMBLE, one of NYC's longest-running experimental theatres, is pleased to announce the World Premiere of 'DOUBLE FEATURE,' an evening of two cinematically-inspired short plays by John Gruen. The production plays from March 19th through April 19th with an opening set for Friday, March 27th.
