Tony Award winner Linda Lavin will make nightclub appearances in New York this month, including two shows at 54 BELOW (254 W. 54 St. in Manhattan) tonight, September 17 at 7 p.m. and September 23 at 3 p.m. with musical director Billy Stritch and a 5-piece combo.

The New York premiere of Owen Dunne's new play POSITIONS will be presented Off-Broadway this fall from October 10-21 at Roy Arias Studio Theatre (300 W. 43 St.) in Manhattan. With previews set for October 10 and a press opening scheduled for October 11, POSITIONS is presented by Steve Bakunas, Linda Lavin and The Red Barn Studio Theatre, where POSITIONS received its world-premiere this spring.

York Theatre Company Announces MAN WITH A LOAD OF MISCHIEF Concerts, 10/1 & 2

Continuing their "Celebration of Off-Broadway,' The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director), will present a staged concert production - similar in style to their acclaimed Musicals in Mufti Series - of the 1966 musical Man with a Load of Mischief, with music by John Clifton, lyrics by Clifton and Ben Tarver, and book by Tarver. Directed by Jenn Thompson with music direction by Bryan Wade, Man with a Load of Mischief will play three performances only, Monday, October 1 at 3:00 p.m. & 7:30 p.m. and Tuesday, October 2 at 3:00 p.m. at The York Theatre at Saint Peter's. Casting will be announced shortly.

Odyssey Theatre Presents COLLECTED STORIES, 9/8-10/14

Three-time Academy Award nominee Diane Ladd (Drama Desk Award nomination) brings Donald Margulies' critically acclaimed Collected Stories (Pulitzer Prize finalist, Ovation Award winner) to the Odyssey Theatre for a limited run. Collected Stories had an extended sold-out run at Manhattan Theatre Club in New York.

Kole has been hailed as a "musical marvel" by Rex Reed, and having "a glowing voice with something to say" from The New York Times. You may know her from her starring role in the critically acclaimed, off-Broadway hit, Our Sinatra, or as the youngest singer to ever grace the stage of the Rainbow Room. Deadline.com reports that William Asher, the writer and director of such popular TV shows as I Love Lucy, Bewitched, Gidget and Our Miss Brooks, died yesterday in Palm Springs, CA, according to local reports. He was 90.
