Fresh off a successful fall residency at Schubas in Chicago and a visit to the recent Ann Arbor Folk Festival, award-winning seven-member indie-folk band/theater troupe PigPen Theatre Co. hits the road March 1, headlining dates nationwide. The tour takes the band to major markets across the U.S., including stops in Austin for SXSW (details to come) and the acclaimed Firefly Music Festival. See below for full tour itinerary.

New York City High School Singers to Join Jazz at Lincoln Center Youth Orchestra at Carnegie Hall, 3/23

Rehearsals are now underway as high school singers from five New York City public schools and a community youth choir join together with young instrumentalists from the recently launched Jazz at Lincoln Center Youth Orchestra (JLCYO) to prepare for an exciting March 2014 concert at Carnegie Hall. The performance is the culmination of a year-long creative learning project spotlighting Duke Ellington's legendary sacred music.

Yuck to Launch North American Tour in Early 2014

Following the debut of their new live lineup at CMJ, Yuck has announced a full North American tour for early 2014. Set to launch on Jan. 14 in Philadelphia and run through Feb. 15 where it will wrap up at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC, the tour will make its way to the South, the Midwest, the West Coast and includes two Canadian stops, in Toronto and Montreal. The tour will feature songs from their new album, Glow & Behold, as well as the self-titled debut album.
