Lifetime Television has renewed its hit scripted series Army Wives and Drop Dead Diva for their fifth and third seasons, respectively, to premiere in 2011, during which 13 all-new episodes of each program will air on the network. The announcement was made today by Nancy Dubuc, President and General Manager of Lifetime Networks and HISTORY.
EW's Ausiello Files reports that Cheyenne Jackson will be returning to NBC's 30 Rock on the October 14th live episode. The FINIAN'S RAINBOW star first appeared on the hit comedy on November 14, 2009, and made a second appearance in the November 20, 2009 episode. The October 14 live episode will be aired live from NBC's studio 8H for both east and west coast audiences. No additional details about the upcoming October 14 live episode have been revealed.

Lead producer Michael Cohl today announced the complete cast for SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark, which begins rehearsals this morning. The Hollywood Reporter reveals this morning that stage star and recent 30 Rock alum Cheyenne Jackson will star alongside James Patrick Stuart in ABC's comedy pilot It Takes a Village. The show revolves around exes Karen (played by Leah Remini) and Howard and their new significant others who join forces to raise their 15-year-old boy. Stuart (of Beverly Hills 90210 fame) will play Karen's new husband. Jackson (Xanadu, Finian's Rainbow, 30 Rock), will play Howard's new and first boyfriend.
