SISTER ACT, the family friendly, over the top spectacle with nuns that rock, opens at the Fabulous Fox Theatre on Tuesday, November 19 for a limited engagement!

With "Sleeping Beauty", the third ballet in Matthew Bourne's Tchaikovsky trilogy that includes "Nutcracker!" and "Swan Lake", the award-winning British choreographer has once again proved himself to be not only a gifted dancemaker but a masterful storyteller. The production, correctly billed as "A Gothic Romance", is playing at New York's City Center on West 55th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues until November 3rd with the superb original cast of world class dancers from Bourne's London-based New Adventures company.

Christmas comes early this year as Northern Ballet's heart-warming and hugely popular adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic tale A Christmas Carol returns to the Lyceum Theatre from Tuesday 5 - Saturday 9 November 2013.

Casting is announced for OH WHAT A LOVELY WAR, a Theatre Royal Stratford East Production:

A Christmas Carol, based on the book by Charles Dickens, combines traditional ballet and captivating theatre to tell the story of Ebenezer Scrooge and his magical night with three terrifying ghosts. Colourful sets and costumes by Olivier Award-winning Lez Brotherston conjure up a traditional Victorian Christmas, while the festive score blends classical music with carols, played live by Northern Ballet's Sinfonia and sung by the dancers. The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presents the national tour of Sister Act for two weeks in the Kennedy Center Opera House from October 29 to November 10, 2013. Producers Whoopi Goldberg, Stage Entertainment and Troika Entertainment have announced that the North American Tour of the five-time Tony Award nominated musical SISTER ACT will begin its second year of performances. The tour opened on October 2, 2012 at Toronto's Ed Mirvish Theatre and is still rocking the rafters across the country. SISTER ACT opened to stellar reviews and continues to receive them across the country.

New Adventures and Re:Bourne have announced a national tour of a thrilling new production of LORD OF THE FLIES, choreographed by Olivier nominated Scott Ambler, adapted and directed by Matthew Bourne and Scott Ambler, based on the classic novel by William Golding. LORD OF THE FLIES will open at the Lowry Theatre, Salford on 2 April 2014.

Antony Sher as Sigmund Freud leads a cast of David Horovitch, Adrian Schiller and Lydia Wilson in Terry Johnson's Hysteria at the Hamstead Theatre, a hilarious and insightful farce that raises intriguing questions about freud's radical revision of his theories on hysteria. The production runs Thursday 5 September to Saturday 12 October 2013.
