On March 3rd Broadway for Self Help Africa will bring together some of Broadway's biggest stars for a night of song and celebration benefiting Self Help Africa at Le Poisson Rouge in New York City.

The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced tonight the winners of the 2nd International Emmy® Kids Awards.

The Broadway League will soon launch KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY, Monday, February 24, 2014 to Sunday, March 2, 2014. KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY is an audience development program created by The Broadway League to make theatre accessible, encourage theatre as a form of family entertainment, and build larger audiences for the future. In the weeks leading up to the festivities, cast members from some of this years' will share their favorite Broadway memories and why they love Broadway! Today's SIPs come from Broadway's self-declared 'Manly Mormons,' gearing up for Super Bowl Sunday, MATILDA's Lesli Margherita sharing her own feelings on football's big day, plus shots from KINKY BOOTS, the national tours of WICKED, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, ROCK OF AGES, WE WILL ROCK YOU, and more!

Producers of the Tony Award-winning MATILDA THE MUSICAL announced today that Matt Harrington and Christopher Sieber will join the company as Mr. Wormwood and Miss Trunchbull, respectively.

Star-studded holiday benefit SPARKLE: An All-Star Holiday Concert returns for 2nd year at XL Cabaret tonight, December 1st, 2013 at 7:30pm with proceeds benefiting the programs and services of The Actors Fund.

The 2013 theatre season brought some truly extraordinary productions, including Matilda, which is still playing at the Shubert Theatre. The musical earned thirteen Tony nominations- taking home five, including a special honor for the four girls playing the title role.

The 2013 Harold and Mimi Steinberg Charitable Trust honored playwrights Annie Baker and Rajiv Joseph at last night's 2013 Steinberg Playwright Awards held at Lincoln Center Theater's Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater. The evening also highlighted the work of David Henry Hwang, who received the 2012 Steinberg Distinguished Playwright Award, as last year's event was canceled due to Hurricane Sandy.
