What happens when two downtown divas pair up for one night of magic? A double bill of epic old-timey proportions. This 1940's themed cabaret/radio show is presented byJoe's Pub (425 Lafayette NYC, NY 10003) tonight, May 27th at 7pm. Tickets ($15) are available online (www.joespub.com) and at the door.

On May 20th Joseph Macchia presented the annual Cabaret Cares Gala to benefit Help Is On The Way Today. Cabaret Cares is the monthly benefit series that brings together the best of The Broadway and Cabaret community of New York. Created by cabaret producer Joseph Macchia who is also the founder and the president of Help Is On The Way Today a grass roots non for profit organization that helps and assists children and teens living with HIV and AIDS in New York City.

Cabaret Cares/Help Is On The Way Today has annouced their sixth annual Gala Fundraiser will be held today May 20, 2012 at the Laurie Beechman Theater. Help Is On The Way Today, founded by 2012 MAC Award Winner Joseph macchia, is a 501c3 charitable organization dedicated to assisting children living with HIV/AIDS. The talent line up has just added the hilarious Christine (S**t Liza Minelli Says) Pedi. Robert Creighton, of the Tony Award winning cast of Anything Goes, will act as auctioneer.

Writer/performer Peter Michael Marino presents a comic autopsy on his $6 million West End musical fiasco Desperately Seeking Susan in DESPERATELY SEEKING THE EXIT.
