Scarborough's Stephen Joseph Theatre company is preparing to spend a month in New York this spring. The company is taking one of last summer season's hit shows, Alan Ayckbourn's A Brief History of Women, to the city to be part of the annual Brits Off Broadway festival organised by 59e59 Theaters. The show will be seen at the theatre - which is located at 59 East 59th Street - from 1 to 27 May.

Celebrated West End newcomers and winners of the Whatsonstage Award for Best New Comedy 2014*, Mischief Theatre have embarked on a major UK tour with their new show Peter Pan Goes Wrong, causing chaos at the Theatre Royal from Tuesday 14 until Saturday 18 April 2015.
Last April I reviewed The Play That Goes Wrong for BroadwayWorldUK during its UK tour prior to its West End run. I enjoyed it immensely and the reaction to the production is clearly widespread as the production company recouped their investment within the first portion of their stint in London. Peter Pan Goes Wrong is the response to their success and is equally, if not more, hilarious than its predecessor.

This comedy spin on a classic family favourite will open at Guildford's Yvonne Arnaud Theatre on 21 November until 29 November, prior to a 4-week Christmas season at The Lowry, Salford Quays, where it will play from 16 December to 11 January 2015. Peter Pan Goes Wrong will then continue to tour nationwide, until July 2015.
