Second Story Theatre presents ST. NICHOLAS, written by Tony Award-winning playwright Conor McPherson (The Seafarer, The Weir), directed by Scott Paulin (Getting Frankie Married, The Roads to Home) and performed by Michael McGee. ST. NICHOLAS will open on Friday, June 18 at 8pm and will run for six weeks through Sunday, July 25th (there will be no performances the Fourth of July weekend) at the SFS Theatre, 5636 Melrose Ave.
CITIGROUP INC. has announced in the Philippine Daily Inquirer (11/3/09) that CATS, the second longest-running musical in Broadway history, will have a limited run at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) beginning July 24, 2010. This production will feature Tony winner Lea Salonga as Grizabella, and an international cast that will primarily come from Australia.

The Chichester Festival Theatre production of Love Story will transfer to the West End previewing at the Duchess Theatre from 27 November, with press night on 6 December 2010. Love Story, which is produced in the West End by Michael Ball - making his producing debut, Adam Spiegel and Stephen Waley-Cohen, is currently booking until 26 February 2011.
UK Daily Mail reports that Dame Judi Dench and Dame Maggie Smith are in talks to co-star in John Madden's 'The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel,' a film adaptation of the Deborah Moggach novel 'These Foolish Things.' Dench previously won her Academy Award under Madden's direction in 'Shakespeare in Love.' Dench last worked with Smith in the film 'Ladies in Lavender.'

The New York Times reports today that LA CAGE's most temperamental Cagelle, Nick Adams, will be joining the cast of PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT. Assuming the familiar role of yet another drag queen, Adams will play the role of Felicia in the North American company of PRISCILLA, which will open at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto on October 12 before heading to Broadway next spring.

In Vancouver, THE LION KING plays Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 7:30pm, Sunday evening 6:30pm, Saturday matinees at 2pm, Sunday matinees at 1pm with an additional matinee performance on Wednesday, August 4 at 2pm. There will be no 6:30pm performance on Sunday, August 8.
