WICKED, the long-running hit musical at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre, is pleased to announce its entire new company to begin performances on Monday 7 February 2011: Joining the previously announced Mark Evans (Fiyero) are: Zoe Rainey ('Amber Von Tussle' in Hairspray at the Shaftesbury Theatre) as Nessarose, Ben Stott ('Jack' in Sondheim's Into The Woods at the Open Air Theatre, Regent's Park) as Boq, and Chloe Taylor(WICKED, 2009) as Standby Glinda.

Based on the acclaimed novel by Gregory Maguire that re-imagined the stories and characters created by L. Frank Baum in 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz', WICKED tells the incredible untold story of an unlikely but profound friendship between two girls who first meet as sorcery students.

The Providence return of Disney's THE LION KING opens tonight, Thursday, February 3 at 7:30PM at the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) for a limited engagement of three weeks through Sunday, February 20.

Disney Theatrical Productions and Victoria Theatre Association announced today that tickets for the long-awaited production of Disney's THE LION KING will go on sale to the public on Saturday, February 12 at 7 AM. Dayton's most eagerly awaited stage production will begin performances at the Benjamin & Marion Schuster Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, June 14 for a limited engagement of four weeks through Sunday, July 10. With some theatres already reporting that Midnight Tango is their fastest selling show of 2011, the producers of Midnight Tango have responded by adding further performances at certain venues on the nationwide tour, which begins in Southampton at the Mayflower Theatre on 6 April.

In her diverse stage show, Ms. Purl performs timeless standards 'Out Of This World,' 'Come Rain or Come Shine', popular theater songs 'Wouldn't It Be Loverly,' 'Whistle a Happy Tune', as well as Country Western classics with her own jazz feel. She is joined by Music Director Tedd Firth and special guest vocalist Tom Wopat. Both performances will be at 8:30 PM at the Regency Hotel 540 Park Avenue at 61st Street.
