Weekend movie box office estimates: September 9-11, 2011.

After completing their 40th anniversary year, highlighted by an all-star gala in May, New Federal Theatre will announce its 2011-'12 season.

Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co. will present RIFF RAFF by Laurence Fishburne at Angel Island, 735 W. Sheridan.

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company (Carl Forsman, Artistic Director/Damon Chua, Executive Director) today announced that their Keith Nobbs, Kellie Overbey and Kevin Kilner would lead the cast of Lanford Wilson's Lemon Sky, the 1970 drama by the Pulitzer-winning writer of Talley's Folly, Burn This, and Fifth Of July.

92nd Street Y has announced that Jordan Roth, President of Jujamcyn Theaters, will continue his popular multi-evening 92nd Street Y conversation series, 'Broadway Talks with Jordan Roth' with Golden Globe Award-winning stage and screen star Angela Bassett. Roth and Bassett will discuss her upcoming role opposite Samuel L. The nominations were released this morning for the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards. Mad Men topped the list with 19 nominations, followed by Boardwalk Empire with 18, Modern Family with 17, Saturday Night Live with 16, Game of Thrones and 30 Rock with 13 and GLEE with 12. Robert Lindsay and Joanna Lumley will lead the cast in Trevor Nunn's production of James Goldman's The Lion in Winter. The Lion in Winter will run from 4 November - 28 January, with press night on 15 November 2011. The Lion in Winter is produced by the Theatre Royal Haymarket Company. After a 35-week national tour, the beloved Berenstain Bears will be coming to life in New York City for a limited summer engagement! The Berenstain Bears LIVE! in Family Matters, the Musical will open on July 3 and run through September 4, 2011 at the Manhattan Movement and Arts Center (MMAC), 248 West 60 Street between Amsterdam and West End Avenue. According to published reports, Tony-winning actor Laurence Fishburne will be leaving CSI: Crime Scene Investigation at the end of this season, as his contract has just expired. He currently plays Dr. Raymond Langston in the CBS crime drama.
