Cameron Mackintosh and Andrew Lloyd Webber's production of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA recently celebrated its 25th Anniversary with a concert featuring: Hadley Fraser as ‘Raoul', Kiera Duffy as ‘Carlotta', Sergei Polunin as ‘Slave Master' and Daisy Maywood as ‘Meg Giry', Ramin Karimloo as ‘The Phantom', Sierra Boggess as ‘Christine', Barry James as ‘Monsieur Firmin', Gareth Snook as ‘Monsieur André', Liz Robertson as ‘Madame Giry' and Wynne Evans as ‘Piangi', together with a cast and orchestra of over 200 and some special guest appearances by original cast members including Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman and Phantom alumni from Colm Wilkinson to Anthony Warlow. LES MISÉRABLES' Toronto Opening Likely to be Delayed

Though an official announcement was made just under a month ago that the classic muscial LES MISERABLES would be opening in Toronto in July 2012, Cameron Mackintosh tells Toronto.com today that it's 'highly unlikely' that the show will make that deadline.

Cameron Mackintosh has announced details about the new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA premiering at the Theatre Royal Plymouth in March 2012, with previews from 27 February and a press night on 13 March 2012. THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA will star John Owen-Jones and Earl Carpenter, who will share the role of ‘The Phantom' and Katie Hall who will play the role of ‘Christine'. David Mirvish and Cameron Mackintosh have just announced the Canadian Premiere of Cameron Mackintosh's highly acclaimed new 25th anniversary production of Les Misérables. The all-new production of Les Misérables featuring glorious new staging with spectacular re-imagined scenery inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo and an all-Canadian cast will play the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto. Performances begin July 20, 2012. The search for the cast for the new Canadian production will begin immediately.
