Featured performances for the 63rd Annual Tony Awards were announced today. The Tony Awards telecast on Sunday, June 7th will feature performances by each of the Tony-nominated Best Musicals and Best Musical Revivals, including: Billy Elliot, The Musical; Guys and Dolls; Hair; Next to Normal; Pal Joey; Rock of Ages; Shrek the Musical; and West Side Story. Elton John (Billy Elliot: The Musical) will receive the Distinguished Achievement in Musical Theatre Award, Arthur Laurents (West Side Story) will be honored with the Julia Hansen Award for Excellence in Directing, and Angela Lansbury (Blithe Spirit) will receive the Unique Contribution to the Theatre Award. In addition, Broadway producer Herb Blodgett will receive The 75th Anniversary Leadership Award.

Variety reports NBC has officially passed on David E. Kelley's drama pilot 'Legally Mad'. 'Legally Mad' would have been the first primetime series from Kelley since the tv mastermind sealed a deal with Warner Bros. TV and would have been his first show at the Peacock since 'L.A. Law.' Kenny Ortega directed the pilot, which Kelley wrote, about a father and daughter at a Chicago law practice -- and the characters that surround them.

Guys and Dolls in Concert at the Hollywood Bowl is a one-of-a-kind production by the same creative team behind last summer's Les Misérables in Concert, led by director Richard Jay-Alexander, with choreography by Tony award-winner Donna McKechnie and musical direction by Kevin Stites, conducting the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.
