The film is a chilling, four-hour, modern-day retelling of The New York Times bestselling novel by Robin Cook, and 1978 film written and directed by Michael Crichton.

A&E Network presents 'Coma,' a four-hour epic two-night event from Ridley and Tony Scott featuring a multiple Academy Award and Emmy Award-winning cast with Lauren Ambrose ('Six Feet Under'), Steven Pasquale ('Rescue Me'), Geena Davis, James Woods, Ellen Burstyn and Richard Dreyfuss. 'Coma,' a modern day retelling of the bestselling novel by Robin Cook and based on the film by Michael Crichton, premieres on Labor Day, today, September 3 and concludes on Tuesday, September 4, airing at 9PM ET/PT on both nights.

The first official trailer of comedian Mike Birbiglia's Sundance selected indie SLEEPWALK WITH ME has been released. Birbiglia writes, co-directs and stars in the film, based on the comedian-turned-playwright-turned-filmmaker's own one-man show and book of the same name. Today in 1968, Exit the King opened at the Lyceum Theatre where it ran for 47 performances. The revival opened on Broadway in a limited engagement at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre, with previews starting March 7, 2009, opening March 26, and closing June 14. Directed by Armfield, the cast stars Geoffrey Rush (who won a Tony Award for his performance), Susan Sarandon, William Sadler, Andrea Martin, Lauren Ambrose and Brian Hutchison. It had previously been produced on Broadway by the APA-Phoenix Repertory Company, directed by Ellis Rabb and starred Richard Easton as the King, Patricia Conolly as Queen Marie, Eva Le Gallienne as Queen Marguerite, and Pamela Payton-Wright as Juliette.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Broadway veterans Steven Pasquale and Lauren Ambrose are set to lead Tony and Ridley Scott's COMA miniseries for A&E. As descried by THR, the show is about 'a doctor who begins to suspect that something is amiss when healthy patients begin to fall into comas.'

In a recent interview with E! Online, Lea Michele, who previously expressed interest in starring in a Broadway revival of FUNNY GIRL, is still interested in starring in the show. A new revival was originally scheduled to open on Broadway in Spring 2012 with Lauren Ambrose in the lead role, but was postponed because of the 'economic climate.'
